W7 skips Crouch Hill station until 2 November

Transport for London has the W7 diverted in both directions between Stroud Green Road and Crouch End Broadway, missing Crouch Hill station, until 6pm on Monday 2 November.

The W7 is not calling at Crouch Hill station or anywhere along Crouch Hill. Buses in both directions run instead via Hanley Road, Hornsey Rise and Crouch End Hill, between Stroud Green Road and Crouch End Broadway.

Transport for London lists the diversion as running from 18 May to 1800 on Monday 2 November. For anyone connecting to the Overground at Crouch Hill, or using the stops on the hill itself, that means walking from Hornsey Rise or Crouch End Hill for the rest of the autumn — a stiff climb in either direction. With more than five months of the diversion still to run, that is a daily rather than occasional inconvenience.
